Gregory P. Tammaro, Funeral Director In Charge

Gregory had 27 years of experience as an event planner and floral designer before his funeral service career began in 2003. He is strongly committed to the families he serves, and has a passion for helping them through one of the most difficult times in life. Born and raised in Brooklyn, Gregory moved to Staten Island in 1989 before relocating to Ft. Lauderdale in 1999. He is a graduate of Miami Dade College and a member of Phi Theta Kappa and Sunshine Cathedral MCC. He is a proud "pet parent" to a Jack Russel named Guido, and enjoys cooking, entertaining, watching movies, working out, bike riding and outdoor activities.

Jami R. Tero, Funeral Director Intern

Jami, a recent graduate of Miami-Dade College School of Funeral Services, was born in Miami and raised in Sunrise. She joined our team as a funeral assistant in February 2015, but has begun her internship at our Coral Springs location after completing the national and state required testing.

Erol Atamer Jr., Pre-Planning Specialist

Erol is a native Floridian, born and raised in Vero Beach. His family has owned funeral homes throughout Central Florida for many years, so he began helping around the funeral home at a young age. He takes pride in helping families plan final arrangements and educating them on the many options available. In his spare time, Erol enjoys sport fishing with his brothers.

Cheryl Loo, Administrator

Cheryl joined our staff in 2016 with 10 years of funeral administration experience. She moved to Florida in 2006, and now resides in Tamarac. She is a member of Community Christian Church, and a proud supporter of the Dan Marino Foundation and their autism awareness efforts. The mother of two enjoys reading, walking, and spending time with her granddaughter.

Janice Passero, Administrator

Janice began working at Savino-Weissman when the funeral home opened its doors in 2010. She makes a perfect fit for administrator because has the multitasking abilities required to keep the funeral home running efficiently. Originally from New York, Janice has a background in accounting and office management. She currently resides in Deerfield Beach and cherishes the time she can spend with her five grandchildren.

Katherine Donati, Funeral Assistant

Katherine has worked in funeral service since March 2016, and enjoys being able to assist families in their time of need. The Brooklyn native graduated from Immaculata-LaSalle Roman Catholic High School and Nova Southeastern University. She moved to Coral Springs in 1999 and is a parishioner at St. Andrew Catholic Church. She most enjoys spending time with her very large Cuban-Italian family. She and her husband, Anthony, have one daughter, Katelyn, and a Birman cat named Picasso.

Kelly Mares, Funeral Assistant

Kelly started working in our funeral home in July 2016. She grew up in Colorado and South Florida, and is a graduate of Mountain View High School in Loveland, CO. The Coral Springs resident is active in the community through Girl and Cub Scouts. She is the proud mother of one daughter and one son, and a “pet parent” to Tabitha the cat. When not at work or volunteering, Kelly enjoys outdoor activities, such as bike riding, swimming, hiking and camping.

Suzanne Pariag, Funeral Assistant

Suzanne began helping with services in September 2014. Known for her caring soul, she enjoys that her work allows her to help people in their time of grief and loss. She has lived in Ft. Lauderdale since 2008, and enjoys swimming, watching movies, and reading in her free time.
